Perch Rock

Perch Rock lighthouse can be found on the River Mersey Estuary in the NW of England.

When I arrived there I came across another four photographers frantically snapping away, so I left them to it and wandered off to get a few shots elsewhere.

I was amazed when I walked back to find they had all disappeared before the show had even started, I was left with all the room I needed & all the glorious light & colour was still getting better.

Remember don't leave until you are sure it's pitch black & too dark too shoot :-)) , I'm absolutely positive they did'nt get anything as good as this & that they left far too early.
